On 17 November 2018, Elements Jazz played a jazz night at V and B in Maurepas, in the Yvelines southwest of Paris — a relaxed wine-and-beer bar given over to an evening of swing. The band ran through standards from its working book of Ellington, Jobim and Cole Porter, bringing acoustic jazz to a convivial local crowd. West of Paris in Maurepas, the V and B cave-and-bar hosted Elements Jazz for a Poulbo Drinks evening in November 2018 — a relaxed, after-work session of swing and standards among the shelves of wine and craft beer. Pianist Arnaud Quercy and Elliot Langlois on double bass set the tone, with guest-star drummer Anael Noury keeping the groove easy and close.

A friendly room far from the city's grand halls, it was the band at its most conversational: jazz as good company over a glass.
