On a spring evening — 24 May 2022 — Elements Jazz set up at a restaurant on the banks of the Seine for an intimate riverside set. The band played as a trio: Arnaud Quercy on piano, Elliot Langlois on double bass and the showman vocalist Augustin Ledieu out front, his big, charged voice carrying swing and bossa standards out over the water. Stripped to three pieces, the music stayed warm and direct — a sunny, song-driven night of vocal jazz by the river, with Paris drifting past.
