Tinsel, shoppers, and a swinging piano: across the winters of 2018 and 2019, Elements Jazz turned the Printemps Italie 2 department store on avenue d'Italie into a pop-up jazz stage in the Paris 13th arrondissement. The core quartet paired pianist Arnaud Quercy with the voice of Émilie Forbin and drummer Romain Courty, anchored by double bassist Elliot Langlois, with guest bassist Damien Fior stepping in across several of the 2018 December afternoons.

Billed as a festive seasonal residency, the band reworked Christmas songs through its house language of swing and easy-going standards, performing late-afternoon sets from around 15:30 into the early evening. Six documented dates between November 2018 and December 2019 traced a warm holiday run that thanked the staff and the crowds who paused mid-shopping to listen.
