"Not bad, the view from our office today." From a boat-club moored at the Port de la Conférence beneath the Pont de l'Alma, Elements Jazz turned the Seine into a Sunday ritual across 2017 and 2018. Pianist Arnaud Quercy, Elliot Langlois on double bass and Romain Courty on drums opened with a latin-jazz set and slid into groove, swinging the brunch crowd until a whole party was dancing on deck.
It was a true riverside residency: fourteen documented Sunday dates, sun on the water, and a relaxed run through soul and bop standards like Bobby Hebb's "Sunny." Guest stars rotated through the lineup — guitarist Jeremy Quentin, bassist Eric Delblond and singer Augustin Ledieu — keeping the room warm in the 8th-arrondissement light.
