At the Meliá Paris La Défense, the sleek hotel just west of the city in Courbevoie, Elements Jazz played a quartet set on 8 December 2019. Arnaud Quercy on piano, Pierre-Alexis Courty on guitar, Julien Droz on double bass and Romain Courty on drums swung through the standards — and in a memorable twist, Pierre-Alexis stepped up to sing the old German cabaret classic Willkommen. Swing, latin jazz and a touch of theatrical fun in a contemporary hotel setting on the edge of La Défense.
