"Without music, life would be a mistake" — that was the mood the night Elements Jazz took over Cabaret Sauvage, the velvet big-top tent ringed by the canals of Parc de la Villette in Paris' 19th arrondissement. On 16 July 2017 the band swung through a mega private party for Showroomprive.com, a room fully packed with caring people and, by the group's own account, mad fun.

Across two 2017 dates this was the working quartet at full tilt: Arnaud Quercy on piano, Elliot Langlois on double bass, Jeremy Quentin on guitar and Romain Courty on drums, with no guests on the stand. They leaned into their swing roots and the standards songbook the band carries from venue to venue, turning a corporate evening under the cabaret's canopy into a genuine jazz night.
