Elements Jazz at La Bellevilloise — Belleville Paris Jazz
Musicians
- Arnaud Quercy — piano
- Elliot Langlois — double bass
- Romain Courty — drums
Guest stars
- Jeremy Quentin — guitar
On a December night in 2017, Elements Jazz set up beneath the high brick arches of La Bellevilloise, the storied cultural hall on rue Boyer in the 20th arrondissement of Paris. The band took the stage for a private showroom evening and, as the caption put it, had a blast playing for an amazing crowd.
This was a one-off concert in the quartet's purest form: Arnaud Quercy on piano, Elliot Langlois on double bass, Jeremy Quentin on guitar and Romain Courty on drums, performing without guest stars. Drawing on the group's swing and blues roots, they wound through standards in the spirit of Take the "A" Train, All of Me and Blue Monk, giving each its own modern touch in this corner of working-class Belleville turned Parisian music landmark.
