Poolside at the iconic Molitor Hotel & Spa (MGallery) in Paris' 16th arrondissement, Elements Jazz turned the art-deco landmark into a swinging room. The band first appeared during the 2017 Fete de la Musique as a quintet — pianist Arnaud Quercy, bassist Elliot Langlois, guitarist Jeremy Quentin and drummer Romain Courty, joined by guest vocalist Augustin Ledieu — serving up, in their own words, "swing, Latin jazz, bop and fun."
In December 2018 the gang returned for the high-energy Jungle Beat private party, this time a quartet with guest drummer Aurelien Sprogis and guest guitarist Elliot Stolz beside Quercy and Langlois. Before a huge crowd they dug into Duke Ellington's "Caravan," Pee Wee Ellis' "Chicken" and Herbie Hancock's "Watermelon Man" — groove-forward jazz that filled the famous Molitor with great vibes.
