Every Thursday from autumn 2018 into spring 2019, Elements Jazz made the historic Bœuf sur le Toit on rue du Colisée swing, a residency that ran until the night the prestigious 8th-arrondissement room closed for refurbishment in May 2019. The core line-up paired pianist Arnaud Quercy with double bassist Elliot Langlois and drummer Romain Courty, fronted by vocalists Andreïa Gómez and Émilie Forbin across standards from the 1930s to the 1950s.
Guest singer Rose Kroner joined the trio for several Jazzy dinners, drummer Anael Noury sat in for the early sets, and guitarist Elliot Stolz traded musical dialogues with Quercy on the duo nights. Between Cole Porter's I Love Paris, swing favourites and warm bossa nova, the band even spun French pop by Dalida and Joe Dassin into jazz, and the other way around.
